Thank you for making the 2011 RV Supershow a success!

The 2011 Southwest RV Supershow closed Sunday, September 18, with a 15% increase in attendance over the 2010 event. Dallas Morning News sports columnist Ray Sasser wrote on Thursday, September 15, “Mecca for RV buyers rolls in ( town) for four days.” Attendees, ranging from young families and “empty nesters” shopping for their first RV to experienced RV pros comparing the latest and greatest, took full advantage of the one-stop shopping “Mecca.”

Kids FishingDespite a challenging economy for many and higher fuel prices for all, the number of people choosing RV travel continues to increase. Vacationing families and Boomers are choosing to travel in RVs rather than drive or fly, stay in hotel rooms and eat out. Whether renting or buying, RV travel is becoming more popular.

More than half of RV owners plan to use their RVs more often this summer than they did last year by enjoying frequent weekend vacations and staying closer to home, according to a new survey by RVIA.
