EIGHT REASONS WHY YOUNG FAMILIES LOVE TRAVELING IN AN RV!

Young RVing families report that traveling by RV helps family members get closer with more communication and shared experiences in their “home on wheels.” And most kids think it's pretty cool to be in an RV.


Grandparents find that traveling with their grandchildren is a great way to connect, share experiences and learn from each other.

 

Sitting in front of a campfire while enjoying s’mores, telling stories, and stargazing is a perfect way for a family to end a day!

  1. easily stop along the way so that children can play outdoors. Camp grounds are often adjacent to lakes or have swimming pools, nature trails and other great “kid friendly” activities and equipment.
  2. sleep in their own clean, fresh beds and use their own clean bathroom. Plus, no more worrying about finding a room during the “peak” traveling season.
  3. take along activities to keep children occupied as well as needed equipment including strollers or bicycles.
  4. pack the RV and then not have to deal with hauling around, packing and unpacking suitcases during the trip
  5. have more control over meals and snacks
  6. come and go according to their schedule and not that of an airline or hotel
  7. count on travel being an educational experience for the whole family whether visiting national parks, historical sites, enjoying fishing and other outdoor sports or meeting a variety of people from around the country
  8. save money on major expenses like plane tickets, hotel rooms, rental cars and eating in restaurants. Pets can be taken along, saving money on boarding fees. With time, an RV can nearly pay for itself with the savings.
